3D Game Artist/Animator
We are looking for an experienced highly creative 3D
Game artist/Animator in the Toronto area to help us finish work on our Sci-Fi themed
PC strategy game product.
This is a remunerated short-term position/contract
(3-6 months with the possibility of permanent or part-time thereafter) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The ideal person must be able to work on all aspects of
3D art content from modeling to animations and collaborate closely with the
rest of the team. Most of the art assets and animations are already in place
but some important work remains.
The candidate will engage and take the lead in the
following work:

Creating Sci-Fi story themed Cut-scene animations
·
Human and Alien Character and other object
short
animations
·
High-poly 3D Modeling, improving textures of ships
and
characters, UV
mapping, Lighting
The candidate should have the following minimum
requirements:
·
College or University degree in Art and
animation related field or related experience/training
·
Advanced knowledge in 3D Studio Max and
experience with Character Studio
·
Experienced
with Adobe Photoshop
·
Ability to animate from concept to final
product
·
Good communication and writing skills in
English or French
·
Prior professional experience in Game
Development, film or broadcasting or a strong portfolio demo or website
showcasing your work
Experience with Maya, Softimage, ZBrush or Mudbox,
Adobe suite applications, drawing, sculpting and other traditional art
skills a plus.
